Encouragement for 2023

The start of a new year can be daunting—especially when we leave behind a difficult season and look ahead to an equally challenging marketplace. Oftentimes, we get bogged down when we can't see a clear path to what is next. 

My path ahead is clear as a representative on your behalf: to commit the time and resources to building better communities at the local, state and national levels so a competitive and fair marketplace exists for you to thrive as real estate entrepreneurs and to make a difference in the lives of your clients and the communities you serve.  

My resolution as an Eligible Candidate for NAR 2024 First Vice President is to ensure that you (every NAR Director) have equal representation and an equal voice in building sustainable  businesses, shaping communities, and making decisions that affect your everyday professional and personal lives. 

Our collective future depends on governance that serves in the best interests of the REALTOR®, not any one REALTOR® association, MLS or other industry giant. As Abraham Lincoln said, "government of the people, by the people, for the people."
